Troubleshooting
Fire Kirin "App Not Installed" — Fixes That Work
You download the Fire Kirin APK, tap install, and Android throws back "App not installed" or "there was a problem parsing the package." Annoying, but almost always fixable in a couple of minutes. Here are the real causes and the fixes, in the order worth trying.
Fix 1: remove the old version first
The most common cause is a leftover older Fire Kirin (or a half-finished install) clashing with the new file. Uninstall any existing Fire Kirin, then install the current build fresh. This alone clears most cases.
Fix 2: make sure installs are allowed
If Android blocked the install, the APK never actually ran. When you open the file, allow installs from your browser when prompted (Settings → Apps → your browser → Install unknown apps → Allow, on most phones).
Fix 3: you've got a stale or broken file
A download that was interrupted, or an old build that no longer matches the current portal, will fail to install. Delete it and get the current build from us — this is why we confirm the live link in chat instead of hosting a file that goes stale.
Fix 4: free up storage
If your phone is nearly full, the install can't complete. Clear some space and try again.
